About:Chongqing Travel

Four of us are planning to visit Chengdu and Chongqing sometime in mid-2011. Is it advisable for us to purchase the hi-speed train tickets for Chengdu-Chongqing-Chengdu before we arrive in China, or when we are actually in Chengdu? And does it rain a lot
in May in both cities?

Most train tickets can be booked 3-5 days in advance, I think book them before your departure would be a good idea. You can search for more information about train tickets at China Trains(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/) . It would rain in may in both cities, but not much.
