About:Hong Kong

My wife and i are going to Hong Kong and i see there are different currencies for china and Hong Kong so what one do we use or do we use both?

We are fist time travelers so i feel a bit silly asking

Yes, there are different currencies. In Hong Kong, HKD is the local currency of course. RMB can be used in stores in scenic area or some big shopping centers. But it is easy to find place to exchange money. Still suggest you take HKD if you do not get to mainland China, or pay buy card in case of bring much cash.
