About:China Embassy in Thailand

Hi there

My husband had Z visa that was valid until 31 of last months.He fly to HK to apply F visa or L visa.We're gong to the US next months for holidays.Officer in HK has suggested that he needs to apply his visa in the US or another country.We are running out of options.Is he can apply L visa from Embassy of China in Thailand?

I can only say that he can have a try to apply for L visa from China embassy in Thailand, however, maybe his application will be refused because he doesn't live or work in Thailand. For China visa application in a third country, the applicants should hold work permit or residence permit in the third country valid for at least 6 months.
