Neither direct trains nor flights are available from Hohhot to Lhasa. If taking train, you have to transfer at Beijing or Lanzhou. The costs vary form different kinds of berth types. And it takes around 45hrs by train. Or, you could take flight to Beijing or Xian first and then take train to Lhasa. For train schedule and ticket price, you can search on the website.0
