About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

I want to know that I m Pakistan Passport holder want to go China....partly as a tourist and partly to see Guanzhou games. What documents do I need. Plus I cannot get a business invitation letter. However, my friend can send me any thing required. Are personal invitations valid?

Where do you want to apply for tourist visa to China? You can't apply for individual tourist visa in Pakistan, you have to join a tour and get a group tourist visa to China. But you can apply for individual tourist visa in UAE if you hold UAE resident visa valid for more than 6 months. The requirements are your passport, one passport photo, one filled application form, UAE resident visa, A No-objection letter from your company stating your position ,monthly or yearly salary;

yeah sorry forgot to state that I am in Oman. I have to talked to counsular and she told me individual visa are not given to Pakistan nationals.. but told me to submit it any way...they will consider it.. thanks for reply Emma...what are requirements for Newzealand visa by the way :)....
