my son is coming to putian to teach english is it a safe town also are westerners accepted

This is a small city in Fujiang Province, just like other places in China, stay at safe places and you will be pretty safe. People will be curious about westerners, but no other situation.

I taught in Putian for 2 years. It is very safe and people are very kind to foreigners. Your son will have a wonderful experience!
