I've heard is been difficult to get a chinese visa now because of the olympic asian games, is it true? I have a flight from guangzhou to brazil on november, but now I am living in thailand. I just have to go to guangzhou to take my plane, do I need a normal visa even if I will just stay inside the airport??? Can I get the visa in bangkok in 1 day?

Yes, it is true. But you may be exempt from going through the procedures for obtaining a transit visa if you take international airliners flying directly through Guangzhou, and will stay there for less than 24 hours without leaving the airport.
