About:China Visa Fees

Hello I am currently on a 6 month F-Visa with 30 day stay. About 9 months ago or more I accidentally overstayed by 1 day and they gave me a warning and told me to sign a piece of paper stating that I wouldn't do it again. My current 30 day stay ends today, October 30th, and I last entered on September 30th. My problem is that my flight leaves at 9:15 pm and I won't arrive in Shenzhen until 11:35 or so which means that I will probably get to the border a little bit past 12:00am. My question is does this count as the next day and am I safe? Or will there be penalties?

I actually ended up getting to the border at 1:00am about an hour past the deadline and I didn't have a problem. I did not however mention the fact that I had already got the warning. I think this really depends on who is working at the moment because the officer seemed pretty relaxed. He just told me to pay attention next time. SWEET!

Basically you are safe if you leave mainland of China before 24:00 on the exact day of expiration.
