HI there, i'll be going to taipei on 31 dec until 7th jan. May i ask whether is it still typhoon season that time? what kind of clothings should i prepare, since its winter that time. any places to recommend for visiting cause i'll most probably be in taipei and kaohsiung only.

Thank you very much, Ms. Celiana. Would it be recommendable to go to the beach around that time? If i were to go up to the mountains, what should i be prepared for and what kind of clothings should i bring along?

It would be a little cold but not very much. it is not typhoon season. You can wear your sweater if it rains, even less if it is sunny, better keep noticing the weather forecast of the places you will go before going there. You can go to Danshui in Taipei, and the Flora Expo in Taipei is on show, you can go there.
