About:Chinese Consulate in Auckland

My passport expires in 7 months. I am only travelling to China in 3 months for 2 weeks. If I apply for a visa within the next month, will I get a visa? The requirement is: A passport valid for more than six months with blank visa pages.
Thanks
Justin

You can get a visa within the next month if your passport still has 6 months remainning validity, but bear in mind that the single-entry visa is only valid for 3 months, you have to travel to China during its validity.
