I would be traveling to Beijing for just one day. Let me say arrival in the afternoon of 6th April and departing for Shanghai in the evening of 7th April. I just wanna take a day tour to great wall. I would appreciate if anyone could help telling me what the duration of day tour to great wall is.

Let me see~ If you just would like to visit the Great Wall, you could arrange it on 7th April, should be enough! Early in the morning, take the city-bus of No.919 at the Deshengmen. The bus will lead you to the Great Wall in about one hour directly. Then, visiting the Great Wall for 2-3 hours and back by the same way.  Hope this is helpful!
