About:China Customs Declaration

So i heard that if you bring items such as laptops, ipods, etc you will have to pay a tax of 20-30% of the items value, that true? Also if im leaving china with items i brought from the U.S, do i have to declare it?

Yes, you have to declare. The tax is 20 percent.
