About:How to Buy Tickets

I will be traveling from Guangzhou to HK. Do I need to purchase tickets in advance or I can buy them on the day of my departure? Are seats mostly filled up easily on these trains? I need to be in HK on a specific date on no later.

There are around 9 pairs of through trains between Guangzhou and HK daily. Thus, tickets are not under that great demand.
