About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen in China on a spousal visa. I want to teach in shanghai, i have the experience but not a teaching degree. Does being Canadian make it easier to get a z visa without a degree. And do i have to go back to Canada or can i go to HK?

First, you need to find a school which can obtain the Alien Work Permit and Visa Notification Letter for you, once you get the two documents, you can apply for Z visa in Canada or Hk. Generally speaking, a bachelor degree is required for Alien Work Permit application, if the school can't get the work permit for you, you can't apply for China Z visa.
