About:China Transit Visa

I am a canadian citizen traveling from singapore to vancouver. I have an 8 hour layover in Shanghai. If I want to leave the airport and go into the city, do I need a visa? If so, what kind of visa do I need?

You don't need a visa if you leave the airport during the 8 hours layover in Shanghai.
