About:China Embassy in Thailand

me and my boy friend are from HK and we are planning to get married in Bangkok, we have consulted the legal service in Bangkok, they said that we need to issue a single certificate from Hong Kong and then bring to your consulate , so that your consulate will issue an affirnmation of freedom to marry, then we bring this affirnmation back to the legal service comapny, then they will start to help us for registration. My question is, do the CHINA embassy really issue the "affirnmation of freedom to marry" to us if both of us are from Hong Kong? thanks

sure, u have to go to Embassy or P.R .CHINA to ask what documents u have to submmit and then u l get the afirnmation from embassy..it costs 700bhat....I m just done with my marriage certificate in bangkok, thailand,,and i did all the documents by myself instead of any agency service. All in all,,it's very easy to make it done...i got married with filipino in Thailand.Im Chinese as well.
