About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

My wife and I hope to go to china on a holiday in May 2011. Can we apply for a visa before we booke our holiday?

Yes, you can apply for China visa before you book the holiday. Generally, the validity of Chinese visa is 3 months, so, don't apply for it earlier than March.
