About:Lantau Island

Hi :)
We will be travelling to HK on 5-7th NOv, staying in Disney's Hollywood. What's the best and economical way to travel frm HK airport to Disney's Hollywood Hotel? Can u advise me on the best itineary for my short visit inclusive of Disneyland,the cable car, Big Buddha and the vegetarian lunch plus other attraction in Lantau island. Our arriving time is in the evening and departure is in the evening too.
Btw, thanks for this wonderful website, very informative. I really appreciate your king guidance for My family will be travelling on a tight budget. Thanks again!

From airport to Hotel, I suggest: take bus S1 to Tung Chung first. 3.5HKD per person only. Then take MTR from TUng Chung to Sunny Bay, finally change to the special disney line to Disneyland. The fare is 12.5HKD. The hotel provide free shuttle bus to pick you up there. If you go to Ngong Ping, you should take mtr back to Tung Chung first. Then take cable car 107HKD per person for round way. Or take bus 23 from Tung Chung to Ngoing Ping. Bus is cheaper, of course. For lunch, you can eat in Tung Chung, or in Ngong Ping. As to vegetarin restaurant, you may find at the Po Lin Monastery next to the Big Buddha.
