About:Urumqi Travel Tips

I am looking for places in Urumqi to go to dance. Social is fine!!Also to go to a place where they have disco music!!I would appreciate also to know if they have club where they speak english..Looking for sheepskin products too!Jackets,gloves,hats,boots etc!

Thank you!!!! I am very greatfull and tell me why is there 2 hours difference away from the east like Beijing?? How is the driving done there??Right hand or Left?? Thanks!!Any english Bars??

Hi Mr. Stephen, since Urumqi is located in the far west of China, there is a difference about 30 dgrees of longitude between it and Beijing. Although it shares the same time with Beijing and other parts of China but it experience sunrise at about 2 hours after Beijing.
For the driving, just like other Chinese cities, people drive on the right side of the road. And there seems no English Bars there, but I think you will meet some foreign friends in the bars there.

I think you can go to Gongyuanbeijiao(公园北角）for fun. There are many bars along the steet and a lot of foreigners would like to go there. For those shopping, you can go to Hualing Market which is the biggest department store in that city. It is located at 9 Xihongdong Lu.

The bar speak English is in Gong Yuan Bei Jie,called Fu bar.all most everybody speaks english there.
