About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Hi,

i currently hold a residence permit( one year) due to my wife being chinese, i have just find a job,do I need to go out of china in Honk Kong to change it to residence permit for work,or can i do it in Pudong entry / exit public and security bureau..??

Like would i neeed a Z visa..?? i dont see the point but??

could clarify that for me..?

You need to exit Mainland China to apply for a China Work Visa in Hong Kong or your home country, then apply for Residence Permit within 30 days after entry.
