my friend from canada is planning on coming here to see me in beijing the the end of the month...and he lives far away from any chinese embassy in canada...so if he sends his application to the agency like that golden mile, then how long would it take for him to get it in his hand? thank you!

Generally, four working days are needed for regular visa application processing.

thanks ms. helper. i just looked more info online and found out there is an online angency called visaHQ, have u heard about it? and is it any good? also, my friend doesnt need a invitation, does he? thanks again.

He has to submit his visa application to the Chinese embassy or consulate which hold the consular jurisdiction of his location. Please make sure for that. and then check their official website if they only accept applications from appointed agancy.
