The wall was firstly built during the Western Zhou Dynasty (11th century BC - 771 BC), so more than 2,000 years. But most of the Walls remained today were built in Ming Dynasty (1368 --- 1644); there are also some sections remained in Gasu province was built in Han Dynasty (221 BC - 207 BC).1
