This might be a silly question - I'm coming with a group to Beijing mid-November. My husband is in a conference the entire time, is it safe to travel alone by myself. (a young attractive female - not to toot my own horn or anything :))

You don't have to worry about so much. I have been there this summer for a week, nothing bad happened but only a so wonderful trip obviously. Anyway, it seems that no city in the world is definitely safe...

Young attractive female? mmmmmm when are you going to travel? maybe i should catch the flight to Beijing too.Kidding... I have been to China and Beijing several times. It is my favorite destination. You dont have to worry about anything. Most big cities in China are safe. I am sure you are going to have a blast over there.
