Question

Hi, I will be in Hangzhou next November. My return flight is scheduled from Shanghai Pudong airport at 11pm. I'm planning on taking the train from Hangzhou to Shanghai, and then take a taxi to the airport. At what time should I leave Hangzhou in order to be at the airport on time? Is there any easier way to get there, like a bus directly from Hangzhou to Shanghai airport? Knowing that I will be with my wife, and probably we will have two luggages each. Thanks a lot.

You could take the train D5680 or T178 to reach Shanghai around 20:30. And it will take about 40mins by taxi from Shanghai South Railway Station to the airport. Besides, there are some buses directly to the pudong airport from Hangzhou. But the last bus usually departs at 16:00 and it takes about 2.5 hrs.
