About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

How do I get a visa to enter Hong Kong? Thank you.

Nationals of South Africa are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for up to 30 days, therefore, you don't need to get a visa to enter Hong Kong for less than 30 days visit.

Thank you for your response. What I meant was that I don't find any Hong Kong consulates - if anyone from any country wanted a visa for Hong Kong, do they go to a Chinese Embassy/ Consulate? Thank you very much. Ann

yes, they need to go to Chinese embassy/consulate to apply for Hong Kong visa.
