Hi

My family is considering a transfer to Shenyang. I have been reading your posts and they have been very helpful. Could anyone tell me about television in China? Are there English programs available? Also, is anyone familiar with an area called Eastern Venice? It is one of the neighbourhoods where we could possibly live but I don't have a street address to look it up on the internet. I am wondering if it is a highrise complex or if there are single family homes there.

We have two small boys (ages 2 and 4) and the comments here about raising children in China have been encouraging. My boys are very active and are excited about living near a zoo and an indoor water park. Any comments about this?

That is a very famous neighbourhood in China, it is located on 608 Shenshui Lu, Shenhe District. It is not located in citycenter,, it is by the riverside, very good environment.
For the television in China, you can apply for chanels of other languages, and there is an English chanel--CCTV International.

This area has houses and apartments, different types of buildings. You can search on the internet with the name "沈阳东方威尼斯" and you can see some pictures of it.

AoA Mr. Faizan, Are you currently there in Lioning? I visited china in august and had a good trip. What is the best way to contact those Pakistani students? thanks a lot for your help.
