About:Marriage Registration in China

Hi everyone，

I was looking through some infomations about marrying a chinese person. i came acrossing this website, i just want to ask some questions because i came to china to visited a chinese man and we decides to married this week. i would like to know what papers to bring back to the US and where do i go to filed my spouse papers such as our marriage certificate? so my spouse can go to live with me in the US.i came to china with all my papers works so there was no problem register here in china. what im worried about is when i returned back to the US. I dont very know what to do so if there anyone out there know, please help or tell me. this is my first marriage and its a oversea marriage. thank you for those who care.

Mrs.Lily, for your question, you'd better ask your immigration department in US. Here is only for China.

Do I still need authenticated birth certificate for marriage registration in China? I thought it has been abolished long time ago?
