I will go back to the village at Putian on 02/11/10 and thereafter travel back to Malaysia on 11/11/10. I note that there are train service now from Xiamen to Putian but there are 2 railway stations in Xiamen. I wonder which railway station in Xiamen (厦门火车站 or 厦门北站) will be more convenient for me from Putian to Xiamen airport? Is the taxi service from railway station to airport convenient? Can someone help? Thank you.

There are airport shuttle bus and citybus at Xiamen Railway Station, you need to take train from Putian to Xiamen Railway Station, that would make your trip to the airport easier. After arriving, you can take Bus 37 to Xiamen Airport.

One more qestion, as my flight from Xiamen is departing 3:10pm, latest by what time I have to reach Xiamen raiway station to catch Bus 37 to airport (2 hours ahead to check in i.e. before 1:10pm) and the frequency of the bus i.e. how many minutes interval per trip? Thank you, once again.

You are welcome, you'd better arrive at the railway station at around 12:10 to wait for the bus to the airport, the bus would run for around 40 minutes, more or less, I think if you arrive there at 12:10, the time would surely be enough.
