Any good hotel to recommend in Xue Xiang? We're going to be there on the 6-8 Dec. How will the weather there be like then? What's there to do at this place? We've kids from 10-13 yrs old in our group. Thanks!

There is a hotel near this area, it is Hailin Wanjia Days Inn Resort, right located at the National Park. Also if you find it is not the best way to experience the local culture, you can stay in private hostels. In Xuexiang, you can watch the sun rise, sightseeing, since the snow there is very unique. And it is the base for many TV series in China. Remember to bring with you warm clothes, since the temperature would be around 30-40 celsius below zero.

Understand you went Xuexiang in 2010. Would you be able to share if you stay in hotel or farm stay? Was it easy to arrange for private driver over there in Hailin?
