About:Embassy & Consulates of Japan in China

Thanks for your reply. could you please advise me which Consulate General should I go to apply for my visa as I am living in Qingdao , Shandong province of China. I want to go bye ship as there is a ship from Qingdao to Japan and I would like to take experience of travelling by ship as I never did it before, so is it ok if I bring the return ticket travel by ship to the consulate or it is required to bring you with return air ticket?
Thanks and Best Regards
Chenda

You need to submit your visa application to the Consulate-General of Japan at Qingdao. But be informed that you need to find a travel agency in Qingdao to help you with this, the list is available on their website, but in Chinese & Japanese version. Here I give you two numbers of different travel agencies: (0531)-8260-0909 and (0531)-8659-0177. Return ticket by ship is OK for use.
