About:Kanas Nature Reserve

I would like to know about the cost of living in chongqing. like what are the prices of basic things like food, transport, entertainment, renting house, internet, movies etc.

Hi, it is hard to say the costs of living in Chongqing as it differs much according to personal life style. Generally speaking, the cost of living in Chongqiang is acceptable.

Just have a try to give you some reference:
1. I think it is impossible to rent a house in downtown area, too expensive. Take an apartment in a good residential district for example, there are two bedrooms, a living room, bathroom and kitchen with necessary furniture, it will cost you about CNY2000~3000/month.
2. the internet fee is about CNY120~140/month
3. I think CNY1000~1500/month is enough, actually too much for a local in Chongqing
4. The bus will cost only CNY1~2, and the taxi will cost you about CNY40~50
4. The movie tickets vary from CNY20~100 in terms of different moves and time.

Thanks Peter for the response but if you could tell me prices of some basic things then that could give me some idea about the cost of living. like
1) Rent of house.
2) Monthly rent of internet
3) Cost of food items: -
a) Milk
b) Potato
c) Tomato
4) Cost of travelling (20km) by bus or taxi
5) Movie tickets
