About:Kunming Attractions

Hi,

A group of us is going to Kunming in Jan2010 for 4days. We intend to extend further 2-3 days but wondering where to go to nearby city in Yunnan for sightseeing and enjoyment. Can you tell us any nice attractions, beside Stone Forest/temple? Any recommendation in nice food in Kunming?

Is it worth going to Dali/Er Hai or Lijiang for 2-3 days? Anything nice in Dongchuan besides red soil? How about Pu Er, Baoshan, Wenshan, or Donghai? Are there interesting places there? Where can we go to see tribal village or even stay there?

I recommend you go to Dali and Lijing in stead of more days in Kunming. If you are interested, you can get to Dianchi lake, or Yuanyang Terraces. I will not recommend other places, according to your time. If you go Shangri-La or Lugu Lake, you may find tribal villages there and stay.
