About:China Customs Declaration

My daughter is studying for the school year at BeiJing university. Can I send her prescriptions in the mail, what documentation do I need to include. What about non prescriptions items from the drug store.

If the prescriptions are not prohibited in China, then you can send it here, but tax will be needed upon arrival. I think you can also consult your local carrier about the issue.

Every time I go to China I take prescriptions medications etc and I have not ever paid tax or any fees whatsoever. However you can check with your Chinese embassy in your home town in the US they will advise you.
Also you can find out the equivalent Chinese mediocations as I did and that saves huhe amounts of money in buying and sending.
