Dear Sir/Madam, we are currently teaching English in China in Hubei, so we are planning to visit Beijing in January during the Lunar New Year holidays. We'd like to visit the Great wall for a day, but we can't decide which part of it is best to go to. We are looking for some cheapest way to travel there either by bus or by train as we have quite a low budget. Please advice us the best possible route to take from Beijing. We would also appreciate any advice you can give on where we could stay in Beijing, so that it's in the centre, but not expensive.
