About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Is it currently possible for a foreigner to get a Chinese tourist Visa in Tokyo without an alien registration card?

If you are a short-time visitor there (less than 90 days), you need to provide the valid Entry Record and its copy. But if you if you reside in Japan for a long time, you need the Alien Registration Card.
