It would be cold sometimes, better bring some warm clothes like sweaters and warm jackets. Also notice that it would be cold in Kunming in the morning and evening at that time, gloves, scarves are also necessary.0

Thanks Micheal. Appreciated your reply very much. Any idea the distance between Kunming and Snow Mountain,. Can i tavel by train or bus? Guess it is too cold in December anyway.0

If you would like to visi a snow mountain, it is suggested that you take a train from Kunming to Lijiang firstly. The train will take you 8~9 hours on the way. There is the Jade Dragon Snwo Mountain, which could be reached from downtown Lijiang quickly.
