I wanted to go to china from Hong Kong with my family here, i went to the consulate here in hong kong and he said i must apply for my visa in nigeria. So i wish to know what is the requirement for a tourist visa to china, when apllying from Nigeria. I have a Hong Kong resident permit and currently in Hong Kong.

You can not apply for a tourist visa to China, but a business visa instead. The requirements are listed on this page. And, you should make an appointment during 3pm-5pm of each Tuesday and Thursday about your visa appliation.
