About:Marriage Registration in China

Hi,

I'm wondering if it is possible for an Australian and an Egyptian to get married in China civilly? Would it be recognised in our countries?? I ask this because I can't go back to egypt and he cannot come to australia, we love each other very much and want to get married.

The process is proved to be even harder and arduous if you want to marry in China. It requests at least one member of the couple must reside in China. Two foreigners on tourist visas are unlikely to register to get married in China so far. In this situation, you can choose to get married in Hong Kong or in Macau since it is more convenient. or you can consult a lawyer about this issue.
