we plan to travel from Hangzhou to Chongqing in Nov. We would like to see some natural scenaries during transit to Chongqing, but we won't have enough time to do a Yangtze cruise from Yichange to Chongqing. Is the scenary on the train route from Hangzhou to Chongquing worth the extra travel time, or are we better off going by air?

I found Train No.: K425/K428 going from Hangzhou to Chongqing. does it mean we need to change train, if so where/station do we need to change the train? how long do we have to wait for the train change?

is/are there direct trains from Hangzhou to Chongqing, and what train number (s)? any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Nancy

Hi Nancy, K425 and K428 are the same train with different number based on the traveling dates. You do not need to change the train on the way.
