About:China Visa on Arrival

Hi - I am planning to go to Shenzhen from Hong Kong with a friend.
Both my friend and I have a french passport. I am a HK resident but my friend is not (only visiting). Can we get a visa at the border? I heard there were some issues with french passport holders?

Thank you

You can apply visa at port when you arrive. But no one here can ensure you will be granted a visa. So, if your trip is not in hurry, you'd better apply in advance in HK.
