About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I have a friend who is a singapore PR from china. She is planning to travel to Malaysia, but however , her passport has only less than 6 months validity. The travel agency advised her to go to china embassy to extend her validity. Does anyone could advise me how long will it take? as she is planning to travel to malaysia in about a week so so.Thanks.

it takes about 10 working days to extend her passport.
