About:China Student Visa

Hi,
I want to study a semester in China starting next March, but I have planned to travel in Asia before I arrive to China. What do you think is the best way to apply for Chinese student visa? Should I apply for it while I travel in some other country like Thai or Vietnam? Or do I need to come back to US to apply for it?

So, when do you plan to enter China? the validity for China visa is 3 months. if your travel is not long, you'd better apply the study visa in US.

RE; Mr. Cecil,

The school will start in March and we are leaving for travel in late December so I guess I can enter China with 3 months visa validity.
