Dear sir , I m going to hongkong , macau & china for electronics fair . I have allready booked my return ticket dated 9-10-2010 & return on 18-10-2010. I went for visa for shnezhen (china) in delhi on 1st october,but the embassy was closed due to holiday  from 1stto 7th. if i apply on 8th on express mode the next day is saturday (holiday). the flight on 9th. is it possible to get visa from hongkong for shenzhen at borders or i sholdtke only from india only. if possible what are the requirements.

If you really have no time to apply in India, you can apply it when you arrive in Luo Hu port. The requirements are your valid passport, one passport sized photo and an application form that you can get there.
