About:Lantau Island

Hi,

We will be staying in a hotel at North Point and planning to get to Giant Buddha by
10AM and wondering if one day is enough to visit all the below places? and how much time is worth spending at each place?

1. Giant Buddha
2. Po Lin Monastery
3. Old Fishing Village (Tai O Fishing Village)
4. Discovery Bay
5. Cheung Chau Island

Apart from the above are there any other must visit places?

No, I think it is not enough to do all of these things in one day. About 2 hours at Giant Buddha and Polin Monastery. 20 minutes' bus (Bus 23) ride to Tai O, but there is a bus every a hour. For how long you stay there, it depends. Anyway, I think Cheung Chai and Discovery Bay should takes another day. Take ferry to Cheung Chai Island from Central Pier. Then go to Mui Wo to transfer to Discovery Bay.
