About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

My flight is Australia to Hangzhou via Guangzhou (transit 2 hrs.)- will I need to claim my luggage after arrival & check my luggage in again or will the luggage go straight to my connecting domestic flight to HZ?

If you can onward boarding pass, you don't need to claim your luggage when getting off the plane. If you don't have one, you'll need to claim your luggage and pass the customs.
