About:China Great Wall

I have heard that the Badaling section is undergoing renos and the cable cars are not working? is this true.--we are visiting in mid-october 2010 and have been advised to visit the Mutianyu section instead of the Badaling. Any thoughts

I do not get the news, so the cable car should working as usual now. Badaling is easier to reach by bus. Mutianyu is a bit further from the downtown. I havn't been to Mutianyu, but I will say Badaling is not good as I expect.
