About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Hi We are planning to enter china from katmandu, Nepal via Tibet.We would like to get the train from Lhasa to Xian.
Could you advise the length of time permitted in China if we spent approximately 7 days in tibet. Are we able to extend our visas?

generally, the duration for a China tourist visa is 30 days, please see it on your visa if you already get it. and it can be extended twice through local PSB.
