About:China Embassy in Thailand

Hello,

I am a US Citizen and am going to be traveling to Bangkok and Phnom Penh before entering China. Would it be best to get my Chinese Visa in Bangkok or Phnom Penh? I want either 60 or 90 days if it is possible.

Another option for me would be traveling into HK before entering China. Is it the same price whether I get the Visa in HK versus Bangkok or Phnom Penh?

Thanks!

You'd better apply for a visa to mainland China in US if you will not live in Bangkok, Phnom Penh and Hong Kong for 3 months, since the China visa is valid for 3 months in general, and in the most cases, Chinese embassy in Thailand will not accept applications from temporary visitors. The price is all the same.

I am currently not in the US and won't be back there before I reach China. If this is the case, do you think I would be best to apply for the visa in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos or Hong Kong? Thanks!

in this case, you'd better apply in Hong Kong.
