Hi ThereI am travelling to guangzhou in 1st week in december and then travelling to hong kong by train. I will be coming back to guangzhou to buy clothes leather jacket and shoes.I would like to stay close to east guangzhou railway station for convenience. can some one please suggest me any hotel ($40-60) and shopping malls. How far is east guangzhou train station to guangzhou train station. thanks

If you want to stay near by Guangzhou east train station , then you may stay in Shanshui hotel .This hotel is just located inside the guangzhou east train station .The cheapest price is RMB190/night ,something like this . Personally i stayed in this hotel before and it is good for money. You can take the metro to guangzhou train station and around 20 minutes at most . Most of the clothes ,shoes markets are located on zhanxi road, near Guangzhou train station .Cheers .
