Can you tell me the best way of going from Guanzhou to Yiwu, and how long does the trip take?

The best way is to take airplane which is fast. Consider the money, train is good which will take 16 hours (train fare, nearly 330RMB for the hard sleeper, nearlly 500RMb for the soft ones. As to Guangzhou air tickets(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-flights/guangzhou.htm) , you can search the current price online.
